The solo exhibition 'How silent you’d like them to be' features a series of still life photographs, accompanied with bits of installation. In the background of creating the works are stories of Lilith and Eve, Medusa and Cassandra, of silencing and overlooking. Stories that are ancient and seemingly distant, carrying patterns that today should be ancient and distant. Yet they are not. With the exhibition ‘How silent you’d like them to be’, Jaansoo continues to work with still lifes accompanied, inspired and supported by flowers and grandmothers, goddesses and demons, female authors and podcasts.
